HOW TO TELL YOU HAVE A TRUE LEFT HAND SHEAR

I've had a couple of calls today from sharpeners asking how to tell if they have a True Left Hand shear. Telling a True Left from a Right Hand Shear is easy, just look at the finger blade.

When you look down over the top of the shear, if the finger blade is to the right of the pivot, it's a Right Handed Shear. If the finger blade is to the left of the pivot, it's a True Left. The pictures should help. If you have any questions, just give me a call.
